Gulf Logbook is a web-based pilot project used by selected federally-permitted charter boat captains to report their landings between September 1, 2010 to August 31, 2011. The charter boats affected by this program are located around the Florida panhandle and in the area of Corpus Christi, Texas.
Along with the Gulf Logbook website, a mobile app was created for Gulf Logbook. This app allowed the Captains the option to fill out their reports remotely.
This app is able to run on iPhone, iPad, and Android mobile devices.
The Dashboard is the main navigation of Gulf Logbook.
The Trip Report screen is used by the captain to report his trip.
The inactivity report screen is used by the captain to report when he goes a full week without fishing.
The captain has to option to print out summary reports for their trips.
